LEVERAGING LOSS, MANAGING CHANGE—WORKSHOPS, SEMINARS AND TRAINING

Dr. Katie Eastman is a nationally recognized grief/trauma therapist, speaker and consultant with ReCreate Coaching and Counseling in Anacortes, Washington. She is a Doctoral level licensed psychotherapist (Psy.D) and a licensed medical social worker (LICSW) with extensive training in the field of Pastoral Psychology.

She brings this unique set of skills and training to support individuals, businesses, groups and communities who are ready to face challenges as major as the pandemic and as tragic as losing a colleague unexpectedly. She uses a multi-dimensional approach which includes strategic planning, collaborative action step, goal planning and a process credited with being the basis of many conventional organizational theories. She is known for her straightforward, engaging and down-to-business approach that draws participants into the rediscovery of their unique gifts. She works with individuals, groups and businesses.

She believes that facing loss can remind us of what we value most, providing the opportunity to consciously make choices that re-affirm these values in all aspects of our lives-and ultimately and collectively the future of your business. With a renewed workforce, able to understand the complexities of the pandemic personally and professionally and able to make personal choices, they are free to concentrate on your business needs.

Recognizing and supporting your employees in this post-pandemic world is essential. Every one of us is different and those differences cut a wide swath through their lives. It was a major disruption to say the least. Putting everything in perspective and re-focusing has been the focus of Dr. Eastman's work throughout the pandemic. She has published and spoken of this during this monumental transition.

An engaging author and storyteller, she is known as an authentic force for good and love.
